Ever since I was little I have been quite, for I
was an only child till I was eleven. My mother and my father separated when I
was two years old. Soon after, they divorced. As a child I never really knew my
father, or truly knew why my parents had separated. Most children wanted their
parents to get back together but, I did not. I have always had the awkward way
of knowing things and how things should be. I knew even as a young child that
they were not meant to be. At the age of five I had discovered my ability to
draw, no specific thing of course. Over the years, like many other artists, I
have excelled in my talent. Since then my life has revolved around my ability to
draw.
As all my friends have been there for me during
my hard times, I intend to be there for my
friends. My friends are everything to me.
Although they are fare and near. Around the
world or next door I would do anything for them.
I believe that it is hard to get my true
friendship. Once you are my friend, to me, you
will always be my friend, even if at the moment
or time you do not think the same of me. Some
people say that one day this will crush me. This
way, of which I believe about my friends. If it
happens, then shame on me for my poor since
of judgment. However, my judgment of true
friends has not failed me so far.
As of right now I no longer live with my mother.
For, I do not see her as my mother. I now, am able to get to know my father, the
man that has secretly been there for me over the years. After years of living
like no person should, I have found happiness within my “new” family. I am a 16
year old girl that has taken on the responsibilities of a parent. As I get older
and almost on my own I do not fear the “real” world, for I have already lived in
it.
Although, my life has not been the best, I feel
I am headed in the right direction. For over the years I have decided what I
wanted to do with my life. My goal in life is to go to school and major in
fashion designing, minor in art, art history, and journalism. The schools of
which I plan to attend I am still unsure at the moment, however, most likely I
will be going to the art institute of New York. New York is the place, of which,
I desire to go. It is the FASHION CAPITAL OF THE WORLD! What better place to
start my career, than the place where fashion is the most, in the world? There
are also lots of opportunities in New York. It is the place me and my best
friend can live together and do whatever we please with our lives. People have
told me that I will not make it, however, if single women with 5-8 children can
live there then so can I.
