Hey! My name is Iyoume. I'm 15 and a sophomore
at Water Valley High School. I was born in Del
Rio, Texas. We moved to San Angelo when I was
two then we moved out here when I was five. I
live with my father Andrew, my mother Roxanne
and my 6 year old sister named Itianny. I have
an 18 year old brother named Jorge; he just
recently graduated and is now a freshman at The
University of Texas in San Antonio.
Water Valley is a small town about 20 minutes
north of San Angelo. It is a tiny 1-A school in
the middle of nowhere. We have six-man football,
cross-country, volleyball, basketball, track,
golf, tennis and UIL. This year we weren't very
successful in football. Last year the football
team made it to the first round of the playoffs
and lost to Well-Man Union. The volleyball team
also made the first round of the playoffs. This
year, volleyball once again made it to the first
round of the playoffs. Basketball wasn't too
great last year and probably won't be again this
year. Track, the boy’s mile relay team earned
second place in the state track meet. I don't
remember how golf, tennis, or cross-country did
but some people advanced to state in UIL. So
pretty much you could say that our students are
fairly active in extracurricular.
When I graduate High School in 2010, I would
like to attend college at Texas Tech University
to become a lawyer. I know it will be a
difficult task, but I’ve always wanted to be a
lawyer.
I love God. I believe that without God, I
wouldn't have been able to achieve anything that
I have.
I like hanging out with my friends,
watching TV, texting, shopping, playing sports,
I love quotes, drawing, traveling, spending time
with my family, watching six-man football and
just having fun.
